Full time position based in BS4. Experience is essential and must have QTS. Long-Term Teachers are seeking to appoint an experienced primary school teacher, who is looking for a brand new role in the new year. This multi-academy trust provides a supportive, enriching environment to students and works closely with the community.
The school is driven by a powerful ethos which aspires to treat everyone inclusively and recognises the importance of a holistic approach to education. You will be working alongside the SLT to plan lessons around the curriculum that are accessible for all. As well as continuing to build a strong school and deliver a first-class education, it is also the school's desire to build a strong community, recognising that educational needs do not exist in isolation from the needs of the whole person.
Some students may have a special educational need, including learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. It is essential that prior to your application you have supported children with additional needs and you can be confident to manage behaviour. Within the role, you will be required to plan, deliver and mark lessons to students in year 3. You will be supported in the classroom by experienced teaching assistants, who will assist with preparing resources and activities and support students with academic and social development.
The position is a part-time job share, commencing in January until the end of the academy year in July 2024. There may be an opportunity for the role to progress to a permanent position.
