There is an opportunity for a KS2 Teacher to work on a Part-Time basis within a Primary School in the BS5 area of Bristol from September. You have the opportunity to join a well-resourced school with a great community of parents, carers and children. They have a wonderful team with an opportunity to further develop your own skill set.

The Role

You will be joining the KS2 teaching team on a Part-Time basis from September. The school is looking to appoint a positive, hardworking, skilled and ambitious practitioner who wants to make a real difference to children’s lives. The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate with great knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, and someone who can communicate effectively with a partner teacher. You will be expected to:

  • Be creative and bring your initiative to the classroom.
  • Assess children’s knowledge and development.
  • Share your knowledge and understanding with others.
  • Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning.
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children.
  • Work closely with the Class Teaching Assistant to provide 1 to 1 support to individual pupils.
