Here at Long-Term Teachers, we have teamed up with a Primary School in the heart of Bristol, who are seeking a KS2 Teacher to join their team on a Full-Time basis from September 2026 to cover Maternity. This 2 Form Entry Primary School is proud to serve a diverse, vibrant community, celebrating this through an inclusive curriculum, providing their children with individual opportunities to be the best learners.

The Role

This school is offering a full-time opportunity to someone with great KS2 experience and knowledge. The Head Teacher is looking for someone that can work closely with the other teachers and use their initiative and experience to bring new and exciting ideas. Focusing on both planning and delivering engaging lessons you are expected to ensure all pupils are encouraged to be enthusiastic about their own learning.

You will be expected to:

  • Differentiating and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all children.
  • Communicating effectively with other Class Teachers.
  • Working closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for SEND children.
  • Having a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Building relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
