I am working with an incredible Primary School in the BS16 area of Bristol who are seeking a HLTA to join their team from September. This Primary School is a 2 form entry school who enable every pupil to flourish by prioritising, building, developing and sustaining honest and respectful relationships which are rooted and grounded.

The Role

As a HLTA you will be supporting the Teaching team by delivering interventions across KS1 and KS2 supporting Maths, English and Phonics. However, at times of absence, you will be delivering pre-planned lessons within all year groups so you must be flexible and willing to expand your own experience and knowledge. You will be expected to:

  • Be flexible and work throughout all Key Stages.
  • Have experience supporting children with SEND.
  • Have good knowledge of the educational curriculum.
  • Be creative, adaptable and supportive.
  • Have high expectations of pupils through motivation, encouragement and confidence.
