Ad-Hoc / Flexible Working

Part-Time or Full-Time £91-£98 per day

I am working with Primary Schools around Bristol and South Gloucestershire who are looking for Teaching Assistants who can support 1 to 1 with SEND children and in a general classroom setting. You will have the opportunity to step into various classrooms; EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 and support a number of pupils. You have the opportunity to work within a classroom supporting the Class Teacher or working 1 to 1 with an SEND child.

We are looking for candidates who are experienced or are looking to start their careers in a school setting.

The Role

This position is an opportunity for ad-hoc work; you choose when you would like to work; full-time or part-time. These schools are looking for flexible, approachable and calm individuals who can step in to cover any additional support needed in a classroom setting.

You will be expected to:

  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to assess children's development.
  • Support with small group interventions.
  • Opportunity to work 1:1 with SEND children.
  • Opportunity to provide general support throughout the classroom with all pupils.
  • Be adaptable and work closely with other staff members.
