Flexible Working Part-Time or Full-Time Bristol & South Gloucestershire
Here at Long-Term Teachers we work with a number of Primary Schools in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area who have been super busy this year so far and are in need of some confident Cover Supervisors to support with delivering lessons during absences. We are looking for adaptable and proactive Cover Supervisors with experience working with children in a group setting or has a strong educational knowledge. You will play a critical role in maintaining positive learning environments by supervising classes during teacher absences. You will have the opportunity to step into various classroom settings depending on your preferences; EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 and deliver engaging lessons.
The Role
You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs. Working for Long-Term Teachers will enable you to work on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your commitments. Your role and responsibilities as a cover teacher will also include:
- Effectively delivery pre-planned lessons set by the absent teacher to students
- Managing the behaviour of pupils inside and outside the classroom
- Assessing children’s development and understanding
- Adapting any work set to ensure each child accesses the learning
- Work closely with the class TA to support SEND children
