Are you a qualified History or humanities teacher? I am currently on the hunt for a teacher who is passionate about teaching and their subject. You will need to be flexible with the ever-changing school environment and able to get stuck into school life. Community is a big part of the school's ethos and something that they look for in all their staff.

The school is based in North West Somerset and is wanting a strong individual to join their team and bring a positive attitude to each class, as well as someone who can work and collaborate with the humanities department. The role is full time and would suit an ECT or more experienced teacher. The role will commence in January.

Duties will include:

  • Teaching all key stages of History
  • A strong curriculum knowledge is vital
  • Planning, marking and assessing students’ work and progression

To be an excellent classroom teacher with a real commitment to high quality teaching and learning. To be able to enthuse, engage and motivate students to raise standards to achieve at all levels. Willing to demonstrate commitment to the values and behaviours of the school.
