A small Primary School in the North Somerset area is currently seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join their KS1 team from September.

This school offers a committed team of staff who strive to secure the highest outcomes for their pupils. Not only do they encourage learning inside the classroom, they highly believe in the encouragement and curiosity of children’s learning outside too.

The Role

The Head Teacher is looking for someone to join the school on a Part-Time basis where you will be eager to join the team, working closely with another Class Teacher to support, encourage and develop children around you.

The successful candidate will show full understanding of the KS1 curriculum and have a desire to work closely with families from diverse backgrounds.

You will be expected to:

  • Have great knowledge of Phonics and Reading.
  • Ability to assess children’s knowledge and development.
  • Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning.
  • Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children.
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children.
