Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently seeking a KS1 Teacher to join a South Bristol Primary School on a Full-Time basis from October Half Term. This school is a successful primary school with high expectations of all their students. Learning is fun and motivating which is a reflection of their exceptionally skilled and dedicated staff. They have a lovely school community with enthusiastic, thoughtful children and supportive parents.

The Role

We are seeking a full-time Qualified Teacher to plan and deliver highly engaging lessons to a Year 1 Class. You will be working collaboratively with other class teachers too. The Head Teacher is seeking an enthusiastic teacher who is able to build strong relationships with all pupils, to inspire and encourage them to become successful lifelong learners. Experienced or Early Careers Teachers are welcome to apply to this post.

You will be expected to:

  • Have exceptional knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Have a great knowledge of the phonics programme.
  • Bring a positive environment to students' learning.
  • Work collaboratively with other KS1 teachers.
  • Mark and assess children’s development and challenge them further.
