I am currently working closely with a large Primary School in the Weston-Super-Mare area who are looking for a KS1 Teacher to join their friendly team from January. This school can offer a supportive team, as a 1 form entry school, you will have a team of staff around you who can build a family and community. The leadership team at the school are very passionate about providing children with positive and challenging learning experiences for them to reach their full potential.
The Role
This position is to start from January on a full-time basis, fixed term with the potential of a Permanent role. The Head Teacher is seeking an enthusiastic teacher who is able to build strong relationships with all pupils, to inspire and encourage them to become successful lifelong learners.
You will be expected to:
- Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning.
- Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children.
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children.
- Have engaging Positive Behaviour Management techniques.
- Ability to adapt interventions to suit the needs of SEND children’s needs.
