I am currently looking for a Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary School in Weston-Super-Mare. Whether you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or a Youth Worker, this role would be suitable for you. This school is a great place for children to be encouraged to use every chance and opportunity they get to explore and develop their learning journey. The Role
This role will suit a candidate who understands the challenges that young people face today and is passionate about contributing to the personal and academic development of every child. You will be expected to:
- Have experience with SEND children.
- Inspire pupils to be confident and independent.
- Hold strong positive behaviour management strategies.
- Be flexible and encouraging when working with a pupil.
- Be adaptable with the child’s learning environment.
- Communicate and observe personal and learning development.
- Support children in a group setting, using objects to support and encourage learning.
