Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher looking to join a supportive and thriving department? We are working with a highly successful academy in Cornwall, to recruit a qualified Teacher of Design Technology to start as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced teacher or a newly qualified ECT to make a real impact within a well-resourced department that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • KS3 subjects include: Product Design, Textiles, Architecture, Food Nutrition
  • KS4 courses: AQA GCSE Product Design and WJEC Hospitality Catering
  • Work in a dynamic department with large workshops, specialist IT suites, and three newly refurbished food technology classrooms
  • Supported by a skilled team of three technicians
  • Collaborate with local industry professionals and businesses to enhance student learning
