Part-Time Flexible Working Opportunities in Primary Schools in Weston-Super-Mare.
Are you someone with experience working with children or individuals with SEND? Are you looking for part-time work? I am working with Primary Schools around the Weston-Super-Mare area who are looking for teaching assistants who can support on a 1 to 1 basis with SEND children or as a general classroom TA. You will have the opportunity to work with a pupil in either EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 to support their social, emotional and academic development.
The Role
This position is an opportunity for part-time work; this could be 2, 3 or 4 days per week (Term Time Only). These schools are looking for flexible, approachable and calm individuals who can use their initiative to adapt environments and encourage children with their individual needs.
You will be expected to:
- Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to assess children's development.
- Have a good knowledge of Maths, English and other subjects.
- Support with small group interventions.
- Opportunity to work 1:1 with SEND children.
- Opportunity to provide general support throughout the classroom with all pupils.
