In this role, as a Teaching Assistant you will be providing 1 to 1 in class support to pupils alongside working with small groups of pupils who need that bit of extra patience and support. You will support students in lessons, helping them manage their tasks, and encourage them to stay on track. There will be outbursts and difficult moments. But there will also be breakthroughs. When a pupil stays in class all lesson, engages with work they’d normally avoid, or simply builds trust with you. Those moments are where the role feels worthwhile.
