A fabulous 2 form entry Primary School in the BS11 area of Bristol is looking for a Teacher to join the team but to work in the SEN Provision to support children with ASD and Speech and Language needs.
This highly regarded Primary School is supportive to pupils, parents and their staff. They work collaboratively to provide the best possible learning environments for their pupils.
They have a Special Educational Needs unit as part of their school where children with additional needs work closely with staff members to challenge themselves but learn and grow at their own pace.
The Role
As a successful candidate, you will be working closely with the SENCO and Class Teachers across the school and working with children from different year groups.
Your role at this school will be to deliver pre-planned core and foundation subjects across the school, assessing the childrenβs learning and development and giving feedback to the Class Teachers.
You will be expected to:
- Have high expectations of the pupil you will be working with.
- Have great knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
- Be a team player β able to communicate clearly.
- Resource creative activities to meet the needs of the pupil.
- Liaise with other Class Teachers.
- Be a resourceful candidate, who can adapt lessons to meet the needs of individuals.
