This Primary School in the SN15 Chippenham area , who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and support a child with additional needs. Your focus will be on helping them access the curriculum, engage in meaningful activities both indoors and outdoors, and thrive socially and academically.
This is a full-time position, continuing until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension in the new school year.

- Supporting the teacher in delivering inclusive activities both inside and outside the classroom.
- Creating a calm and comfortable learning space for the child.
- Encouraging the child’s social and emotional development .
- Using clear, concise, and literal communication .
- Providing a predictable routine to help reduce anxiety.
- Proactively preparing the child for any changes in the school day.
