There is an opportunity for multiple Teaching Assistants to join a wonderful Primary School in the BS5 area of Bristol from November.

The school is part of a Large Academy Trust who inspire and support each pupil to achieve and develop their learning journey. With a diverse background of pupils at the school, the school offers an inclusive curriculum that improves communication, interaction and experiences.

The Role

There are 3 opportunities available, where you will be working as a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with SEN needs; including SEMH and ASD.

There is an opportunity within their Reception Class and throughout their KS2 classrooms.

These positions are full-time positions starting in Term 2 until the Summer Term.

You will be expected to:

  • Be creative and bring your initiative to the classroom.
  • Ability to assess children’s knowledge and development.
  • Work closely with the SENCO to understand appropriate approaches.
  • Build strong relationships with the pupil and their parents.
  • Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher on their progress.
