A Primary School in Weston-Super-Mare is looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience working with children who have SEMH needs.

The Role
This position is for a 1:1 role working with a child in a year 4 class where you will be responsible for supporting this child who has various Social Emotional Mental Health needs.
The Head Teacher is looking for an individual who can provide a positive and empathetic approach when supporting this individual.
You will be expected to:
- Strong positive behaviour management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher
- Be flexible and encouraging when working with this pupil.
- Be adaptable with the child’s learning environment.
- Communicate and observe personal and learning development.
