Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are working closely with a Primary School based in BS7 who are currently looking for a PPA Teacher to work throughout all year groups in their school.
The mission for this school is to promote social and educational development and achievements for their pupils. Working for this Primary School, you will be joining a wonderful team of teachers who are supportive of one another. This will be somewhere you can use your initiative and creativity to support children’s learning and development.
The Role
As a PPA Teacher, you will need to be a flexible candidate, working throughout all Primary age groups, you are required to have great knowledge of the national curriculum.
Working on a part-time basis (term time only) from January, you will be expected to cover absences and PPA time.
This is a great opportunity to develop your experience or work closely with Class Teachers, using your initiative and knowledge to deliver exceptional lessons.
You will be expected to:
- Communicate clearly with all staff in the school.
- Have great knowledge of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to the high expectations the school holds.
- Assess children’s learning and feedback to Class Teacher.
- Be approachable, calm and positive.
- Hold Positive Behaviour Management strategies.
