A welcoming Nursery in Penzance is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible. The school's curriculum is developed naturally, inspired by children’s curiosity, imagination and the questions and challenges they explore together.
In this role, you will be supporting children aged 2–4, helping to create a safe, stimulating and engaging setting where every child can learn and grow. You will work closely with the Room Leader and wider Early Years team to deliver high-quality care and learning experiences, tailored to meet each child’s developmental needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children through play-based learning
- Assisting with daily routines, including personal care
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive and nurturing environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver activities
- Building strong, supportive relationships with children and their families
Experience in a nursery or Early Years setting is highly desirable and a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is preferred.
