Maths Science SEMH Teachers Special school Maths Science Teacher roles available 8:30am - 3:30pm January start SEMH students.
We're working closely with a brilliant special school on the outskirts of Bath that are looking for a Maths teacher Science Teacher to teach up to GCSE level. These roles are both full-time teaching posts where you will have full teaching responsibilities. Having placed a number of candidates in the school over the years, I can confidently say how tight knit and welcoming a team they are. They support students with a range of needs but are primarily focused around Social, Emotional Mental Health needs. These students will often come from fairly traumatic backgrounds, this work can be incredibly rewarding.
The roles are full teaching posts where you will be expected to have experience planning and marking lessons in Maths or Science. You will be mostly teaching students aged 13-16. Ideally the successful candidate would hold a QTS and feel confident in teaching Maths or Science to GCSE level. Due to the needs of the students, you would ideally have worked with SEMH students before; they are open to applications from mainstream teachers who feel confident in dealing with challenging behaviour.
