Are you passionate about making a difference in a child’s learning journey? A Primary School in Weston is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide personalized support to a child with an EHCP.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and enthusiastic team, helping children thrive in their learning and personal development. This position will be starting as soon as possible until the Summer.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide one-to-one support for a child with an EHCP, helping with their academic, emotional, and physical needs
  • Support the teacher in preparing and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Assist in developing and monitoring personalized learning plans and education goals
  • Deliver interventions and activities that promote safe and effective learning behaviors
  • Supervise children during midday breaks, ensuring their safety and well-being

About You

  • Have experience working with children with SEND or a strong interest in developing these skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
