I am working on behalf of a fabulous Primary School in South Bristol who is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within a KS2 classroom. This school is a 2 form entry school with a passion to encourage children to be kind, responsible and to try their best. They pride themselves on encouraging and inspiring their pupils with their curriculum, influencing them to become confident and supportive learners.
The Role
This role is a full-time position, from September. The Primary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working within KS2 classrooms, someone who is approachable, organised and has great communication skills. You will be expected to:
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to identify how to provide additional support to individuals.
- Provide general support throughout the classroom with all pupils.
- Work with the class teacher to deliver structured and adaptable interventions.
- Support behaviour management inside and outside the classroom.
- Be adaptable and flexible around the KS2 classrooms.
