I am working with an outstanding Primary school in Swindon. They are currently looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join the community and bring their experience to the school. Bringing learning to life through creative lessons and enriching activities helps the students to enjoy learning. Students are encouraged to take on roles of responsibilities and represent their school in events like music and sport. Teachers provide routine and great organisation to the school as well as emotional and behavioural support as well as opportunities for outdoor learning in their woodland walk or daily run.

The role is part time and on a 1 year fixed-term contract in which you would be employed by the school. Being a fundamental part of the school you will be providing and planning lessons in order to progress the learning and development of students through a topic based approach. You will encourage pupils to learn and take part both inside and outside the classroom to create resilient and independent learners.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivery of engaging, inspiring lessons.
  • Communicate with parents and teachers in order to create positive relationships between all in the community.
  • Creating a positive learning environment by creating enthusiastic and engaging lessons.
  • Supporting students inside and outside the classroom.
  • Help students to participate fully in lessons to boost self-esteem
