I am currently working closely with a large Primary School in South Gloucestershire who are looking for a KS1 Teacher to join their friendly team from September. This school can offer a supportive team; as a 3 form entry school, you will have a number of staff members to seek advice and work alongside throughout your time at the school. The leadership team at the school are very passionate about providing children with positive and challenging learning experiences for them to reach their full potential.
The Role
This position is to start from September until the end of Christmas on a full-time basis. You will share the planning load throughout the year group but are required to bring all your experience and creativity with you to support. You will be expected to:
- Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning.
- Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children.
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children.
- Have engaging Positive Behaviour Management techniques.
- Ability to adapt interventions to suit the needs of SEND children’s needs.
