There is a fabulous opportunity with a Primary School based in Weston‑Super‑Mare who are currently seeking a KS1 Teacher to join their team in October to cover MAT leave.
This school is vibrant and creative, community‑focused one form entry primary school and pride themselves on their ambitious curriculum and curiosity to learn.
The Role
This role is a long‑term position until the end of the academic year working on a full‑time basis. You will be working with a wonderful group of 29 children to encourage and motivate their learning and growth.
You will be expected to:
- Have an excellent understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
- Plan and deliver fun and exciting activities and lessons.
- Confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children.
- Have engaging Positive Behaviour Management techniques.
- Ability to adapt interventions to suit the needs of SEND children’s needs.
- Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant.
