Long-term Teachers is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Exeter and the surrounding areas. We are working closely with a range of welcoming and supportive schools to recruit for October and January starts, with a variety of long-term and permanent opportunities available.
We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential. Previous experience working within a secondary school or supporting children and young people is essential. Experience supporting students with SEN is highly desirable but not essential. Roles may include general classroom support, small group interventions and 1:1 support for students requiring additional assistance.

- Previous experience working with children or young people
- A patient, positive and proactive approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to support students with a range of learning needs
- A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed
