I work with some incredible Primary Schools in the South Gloucestershire area. We work closely with Primary Schools in the area who actively need Cover Teachers to support their staff, teaching and delivering pre-planned lessons. These Primary Schools have some nurturing environments, supporting students with their educational development. These schools can offer professional development and great opportunities for you to develop your own experience and skills.
The Role
This position is a flexible working opportunity, where you will be working as a Cover Teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons to EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils. We can base your work on your own preferences and experiences.
We are looking for candidates with experience Teaching (in the UK) or someone with a degree in Education who has experience in an environment leading activities or lessons to children. You will be expected to:
- Have high expectations of children and of yourself
- Have a passion for teaching
- Have up-to-date knowledge of pedagogy and the curriculum
- Hold strong behaviour management strategies.
- Communicate clearly with other staff members about children’s development.
