Here at Long-Term Teachers, we work closely with a Primary School in the BS3 area of Bristol who are seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team. This school is highly dedicated to providing the best opportunities and support for children with additional needs. As a mainstream school in Bristol, being part of a large Academy Trust, they have had the privilege of providing an environment and classroom for children with SEND to learn and grow independently.

Your New Role

We are looking for a resilient, dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support classroom learning. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working closely with SEND children and have a passion for their development.

You will be expected to:

  • Show enthusiasm and passion around working with children
  • Have an understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Work closely within a team
  • Have previous experience of working with children with SEN
  • Be patient
