Behaviour Mentor β Launceston SEP
Start: Full Time β Permanent β Contracted aligned Monday to Friday 08:30-15:30
Salary: Β£95 β Β£100 a day
Responsibilities
- Support pupils who have had difficulties thriving in mainstream or special schools, including pupils returning from out-of-county placements.
- Provide high levels of support, often including one-to-one, with bespoke timetabling following thematic learning experiences.
- Deliver a wide range of personalised learning in and out of the classroom to engage students, build resilience and support rapid academic progress.
- Work as part of a team with long-term teachers and an independent agency partner to support pupils and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Confident working within small groups and 1:1/2:1 support.
- Passion for working with children and young people in SEN settings.
- Relevant experience working with children or people with special educational needs.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
Progression
There will be an opportunity to progress to a permanent position if you demonstrate to be an excellent addition to the team.
