Teaching Assistant Full time An exciting opportunity for a teaching assistant in a Primary school in St Austell. We are looking for someone who has either previous experience as a teaching assistant or experience within a similar role. We are a large, two form entry, family-centered school situated in the heart of the community in St. Austell. We are very proud of our school and work collaboratively to ensure excellent provision for all. We welcome visitors warmly so please do arrange a visit. Purpose of the role: To take a pro-active role in the support of the educational, social and physical needs of the pupils; to support the curriculum and the school through the provision of assistance to the teacher in the practical organisation of class activities and small group work. Working as a teaching assistant, no day is the same, Some days you may be working with a small group of children, supporting them with reading and other days you may be helping the teacher with a lesson or working 1:1 with a student.
