We are looking for a talented SEN Teacher to take on a class of 10 students at a school in the local area. The role is temporary to cover a long term absence at the school. The rile is offering full time hours up to february half term but there is the potential for it to continue into the Easter term. The school is looking for someone that is proactive and highly skilled with SEN students. They are needing a teacher that is able to work autonomously, you will of course be supported by the other staff at the school but the ability to tackle charge in a classroom setting and be confident at leading a group of 10 students is essential. Candidates should be able to demonstrate: A clear understanding of the needs of pupils with severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism. Ability to plan and implement good classroom practice and management. The ability to develop specific areas of the curriculum according to the needs of the school.
