SEN Learning Support Assistant

I'm working on behalf of a fantastic special school that are looking for a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join the team ideally for an immediate start. The school look after a wide range of special needs & disabilities for ages 4-16.

We have a couple of TA's already in long-term placements at this school that are thoroughly enjoying their time there. They're an incredibly supportive team who will make sure you feel welcome from your first day!

The role

This vacancy is with a KS2 class of Complex Needs students, so experience with Complex Needs (SLD, ASD) is essential (whether this is in a school or in a support work setting). The class is such a wonderful environment to work in. You will be working closely with 3 other permanent TA's, it's an incredibly rewarding class to be a part of.

The most important traits for the school are being proactive, patient, calm, positive and confident in deescalating challenging behaviour.
