The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team immediately. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality early education and care for children aged from birth to five years. Working in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, you will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s holistic development.

You will be responsible for observing, assessing, and supporting children’s progress, while building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues. Above all, you'll help create a safe and stimulating environment that encourages every child to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, play-based learning experiences tailored to children’s developmental stages.
  • Promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, keeping accurate records and reports.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports all children.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children by adhering to safeguarding and welfare policies.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers, and team members.
  • Encourage independence, curiosity, and creativity through engaging activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (required).
  • A warm, nurturing, and patient approach to working with young children.
  • Sound knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and reflect on learning activities.
  • Proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic team player.
