We are working closely with a Primary School in the BS35 area of South Gloucestershire who are seeking an experienced EYFS Teacher to join their team for Term 6 on a Full-Time basis. This school is a place where they like to make everyone feel accepted, valued and respected. They have a strong belief that schools must be a welcoming place for children, families, staff and the community.

The Role

From Term 6, you will be joining the school as a Reception teacher, working 5 days a week. This role may continue into September. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that align with the national curriculum but also bring an inclusive approach to allow all children to achieve their abilities. The Head Teacher is looking for someone who can be flexible but bring their own initiative and creative ideas to planning and day to day EYFS activities.

You will be expected to:

  • Hold great knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons well to ensure everyone is able to access the learning.
  • Create an engaging learning environment.
  • Experience of working with children from mixed ability backgrounds.
  • Experience of SEND practices.
  • Provide a safe and caring learning environment for the pupils.
