We work on behalf of a brilliant special school on the outskirts of Bristol that are looking for a full-time ASD Learning Support Assistant to join the team.

The school look after a range of special needs & disabilities but the class they require support for is a Complex Needs ASD class of KS1 students. The school are incredibly supportive of each other and very welcoming of new staff to their big family!

The role

The role of LSA is varied; you will be expected to provide general classroom support as well as individualised 1-1 support. The class has 7 students where you will be working with2 other permanent TA's who know the class well.

Due to the needs of the students it is imperative that you have worked with ASD/SEN students before and are used to dealing with challenging behaviour. Though there can occasionally be challenging behaviour this class is a wonderful class to support in, the deputy head was incredibly complimentary of the class.
