We work on behalf of an independent provider of specialist further education and residential care. They are currently looking for support staff that are able to support in shift style work. All students at the setting have EHCP's and have a wide range of different special needs and disabilities. The college's main focus is around preparing their young people for adulthood by equipping them with a toolkit for life after college.
The role offers various types of shifts, whether you're looking for normal school hours or evening shifts - they are flexible. You also have the choice of odd days or something more full-time! This role is very suitable for support workers; experience working with special needs and disabilities is essential. You will be expected to get stuck in and support these young people in all aspects of their life, which may occasionally include personal care.
