This opportunity is a great chance for someone who wants to work on a full-time basis as a Teaching Assistant from April in a Year 3 class. A family feel Primary School situated in South Gloucestershire is currently seeking an energetic TA to join their diverse, strong community and friendly team of staff. The Role
This is a full-time position working term time only. You will be expected to work on a 1 to 1 basis with an SEN pupil in their KS2 class, working closely with the pupil and class teacher to develop their educational and social skills. The Head Teacher is looking for a positive and creative team player who can work closely with the Class Teacher to resource and adapt activities to support individual learning. You will need to bring a confident, calm and consistent manner to the environment.
You will be expected to:
- Hold high expectations for children's development.
- Have great experience in positive behaviour management.
- Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher when assessing children’s development.
- Create a positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively to support interventions.
