Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently looking for a Class Teacher for a 1 form entry Primary School in the BS34 area of South Gloucestershire from October. This school highly believes in inclusion and collaboration between staff, children and parents. The Role

As a Year 3 Class Teacher, you will start from October, covering a year of Maternity Leave on a full-time basis. The Head Teacher is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher, who has a desire to make a positive impact. The successful candidate would have up-to-date knowledge of the English curriculum and behaviour management strategies. Early Career Teachers and/or experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

You will be expected to:

  • Hold great knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Have some knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum to meet the needs of the children who need additional support in Core subjects.
  • Ability to assess development, to plan and adapt the curriculum to meet needs.
  • Create an engaging learning environment.
  • Communicate well with other KS2 Teachers.
  • Plan and deliver high quality lessons to inspire and motivate.
