A SEND LSA supports pupils with additional needs such as autism, communication difficulties, or moderate learning difficulties. You’ll usually work 1:1 or in small groups, helping pupils access lessons and making sure they don’t get left behind. Sometimes this means breaking work down into smaller steps, using visual aids, or giving extra explanations.
