I am excited to be working with a number of Primary Schools in the North Somerset area who are keen to invite candidates who are aspiring teachers to join their teams. These schools are keen to support you with your professional development and experience within a school setting. This is a great opportunity for someone who is studying at present or would like to explore the world of Primary Schools. You will be able to work as a HLTA, Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.

The Role

This opportunity is great for you if you are looking for flexible working hours. This could be part-time or full-time work, working all day, mornings or afternoons. You will need to have some experience working with children and have a flexible approach to supporting a variety of children of different ages.

You will be expected to:

  • Support Class Teachers with the whole class, small groups or individuals.
  • Support SEND children on a 1 to 1 basis.
  • Deliver pre-planned interventions with small groups of children.
  • Support with Behaviour Management.
  • If confident - cover pre-planned lessons to whole class.
