Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher looking to join a supportive and thriving department? We're working with a highly successful academy in Cornwall, to recruit a qualified Teacher of Design & Technology to start as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced teacher or a newly qualified ECT to make a real impact within a well-resourced department that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- KS3 subjects include: Product Design, Textiles, Architecture, Food & Nutrition
- KS4 courses: AQA GCSE Product Design and WJEC Hospitality & Catering
- Work in a dynamic department with large workshops, specialist IT suites, and three newly refurbished food technology classrooms
- Supported by a skilled team of three technicians
- Collaborate with local industry professionals and businesses to enhance student learning

What Weβre Looking For:
- A qualified Design & Technology teacher (QTS required)
- Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4 (or the potential to do so as an ECT)
- Passion for practical, hands-on learning and the ability to inspire young minds
- Confidence in managing a classroom and delivering strong student outcomes
- Right to work in the UK β visa sponsorship is not available
