SEMH Teaching Assistant for KS3 & KS4 classes in a Special School (ASD & SEMH) in Swindon, starting in September on a full-time, long-term basis. The school is looking for a TA to provide support across classes, focusing on students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH) and ASD. The role involves general classroom support and 1-1 work in various subjects.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be adaptable and flexible around the needs of the pupils.
  • Have experience of working with SEMH/ASD.
  • Feel confident in dealing with challenging behaviour.
  • Support students on a personal level as well as educational.
