The Role: I am currently working with a local secondary school, who is in need of senior department support from September 2025. As candidates will start at the beginning of a new academic year, it is an amazing opportunity to be welcomed alongside the new cohort and other members of staff, growing in confidence together in this new environment. The role involves planning and delivering lessons across key stages 3 & 4, so strong curriculum knowledge is crucial. Successful candidates will also be liaising with senior members of staff to support faculty organisation and attending school events (e.g. parents/open evenings). If you are a bright and dedicated educator, Long-Term Teachers would love to hear from you!

The School: The location of the school and its proximity to reliable transport links means applicants from surrounding areas are strongly encouraged to apply. Teaching at this school creates a community of driven professionals, aspiring to provide consistent learning opportunities for students and raising academic achievement. Other than prioritising the students, the Headteacher also views staff as invaluable and aims to support them through SLT-approved initiatives (centralised curriculum resources and in-lesson marking). As the role begins in September 2025, this allows time for initial meetings and introductions to create an established positive working relationship between candidates and the school.
