1 year teaching experience in UK. Pay to Scale. Monday - Friday. Planning and marking.

Are you a qualified History or humanities teacher? I am currently on the hunt for a teacher who is passionate about teaching and their subject. You will need to be flexible with the ever-changing school environment and able to get stuck into school life. Community is a big part of the school's ethos and something that they look for in all their staff.

The role is full time thus would suit an ECT looking for a long-term placement to grow and develop their pedagogy but also for a more experienced teacher looking for a change of environment and settle in an established school.

Duties will include:

  • Teaching all key stages of History
  • A strong curriculum knowledge is vital
  • Planning, marking and assessing children’s work and progression
  • Being an excellent classroom teacher with a real commitment to high quality teaching and learning
  • Enthusing, engaging and motivating students to raise standards to achieve at all levels
  • Demonstrating commitment to the values and behaviours of the school
