Are you a qualified History or humanities teacher? I am currently on the hunt for a teacher who is passionate about teaching and their subject. You will need to be flexible with the ever-changing school environment and able to get stuck into school life. Community is a big part of the school's ethos and something that they look for in all their staff.
The role is full time thus would suit an ECT looking for a long-term placement to grow and develop their pedagogy but also for a more experienced teacher looking for a change of environment and settle in an established school.
Duties will include:
- Teaching all key stages of History
- A strong curriculum knowledge is vital
- Planning, marking and assessing children’s work and progression
- Being an excellent classroom teacher with a real commitment to high quality teaching and learning
- Enthusing, engaging and motivating students to raise standards to achieve at all levels
- Demonstrating commitment to the values and behaviours of the school
