SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistants are required for special schools with an immediate start ideal from 8:30am to 3:15pm. The role involves providing support across the school and leading pre-planned cover.
We represent a number of special schools in the Stroud area that are looking for individuals who can provide (ideally full-time) cover as an HLTA. As an HLTA, you will be the school's all-rounder, looking after students with a variety of SEND & SEMH for ages 4-16.
The role revolves heavily around leading pre-planned cover in classes that have a need. Being adaptable to different age groups and needs is essential, and you must be confident in your classroom management. This opportunity is suitable for experienced TAs looking to step up into a role with more responsibility, as well as unqualified teachers. SEN experience is a must-have, but the schools are open to applications from candidates with mainstream experience.
