We work on behalf of a fantastic special school based in North Bristol that are looking for an SLD teacher who can start with the team from September. The school looks after students with a range of special needs and disabilities aged 4-16. The school is well established, having successfully supported families locally for many years.

The role is to lead a class of Severe Learning Difficulties students (SLD) for at least September - December, but it is very likely that this role would be extended. You would be expected to plan your own lessons, but due to the needs of the students, there is little to no marking involved. You will be ably supported by a team of TAs in the class who are all permanent and know the students well, having been with them for the majority of last year.
