We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school based in the Shepton Mallet area that are looking to add to their internal supply pool to cover PPA, SLT release, planned absences and sickness cover. The school supports a wide range of special needs & disabilities and they are committed to the learning & progress of their pupils.
The role will be incredibly varied as you will be providing cover across the school in many different classes. It is essential that you are adaptable, confident, patient and put the needs of children first. You will be leading pre-planned lessons (no planning or marking required), so possessing naturally strong classroom management is important. Applicants from specialist or mainstream settings are encouraged.
