A special school in South Bristol is looking for SEN Learning Support Assistants to join the team in either full-time or part-time capacities. The school caters to students with a range of special needs, primarily focusing on Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH).
The role: The role of LSA revolves heavily around supporting the class teacher and working alongside other permanent TAs at the school. There will be general classroom support as well as working in many 1-1 situations. It is imperative that candidates feel confident in managing challenging behaviour and can adapt easily to different class environments. Experience in an SEN environment is preferred.
