We are working on behalf of a large, well-respected special school in Salisbury that looks after students with SEMH & ASC. The school is growing in numbers year on year with additional funding having been recently approved. They are incredibly proud of the important support they provide local families, offering education, care and therapeutic support to pupils aged 4-19. Due to the needs of the students, this is a school where you have a genuine opportunity to change their lives.

The role:

They currently have a gap in their Science department for a full-time teacher. The role involves teaching up to GCSE Science across a range of age groups. This position is full-time, so you will be expected to plan and mark your lessons. There is a new, fantastic head of department who will provide you with regular support. It is important that you are comfortable working with challenging behaviour due to the needs of the students.
